Why does my nba 2k17 keep freezing

I have been trying to play my game and it keeps freezing. I have an Xbox One and I have been playing this game for a while and now it is not working. This is the only game that has done this to me. The other games I have are working just fine and there is no problem with them at all. This is the only game that keeps freezing up on me and it is very frustrating because I can not enjoy my game when it keeps freezing up on me.

I know that there are many people out there who are having this same problem and they would like some help on how to fix their problem so they can get back to enjoying their games again. Myself included, I would like some help on how to fix this problem so that I can continue playing my favourite game without any interruption or problems whatsoever!

Here are some reasons for freezing Caused by drivers.

Incompatible video card drivers.

Incompatible video card drivers. You’re probably using the latest version of your video card’s drivers, but some games will still break if you have an older driver installed. If you’re running Windows Vista or 7, this means uninstalling your current driver and installing the latest one from nvidia.com or amd.com. On Windows XP, it’s best to just update to Windows 8—but if you’re set on sticking with XP for another year or so, uninstall your current driver and try installing a different version from the manufacturer’s website (search for “downloads” and then find the link for “driver”).

Incompatible sound card drivers.

Make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for running NBA 2K17: Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 @ 2.6 GHz / AMD Athlon X2 64 3200+ or better; 4 GB RAM (Windows 7), 8 GB RAM (Windows 8/8.1) ; 15GB free HDD space; DirectX 9.0c compliant video card with 256 MB of Video Memory Pixel Shader 4.0 (NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT / ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT); DirectX 9.0c compliant sound card; Internet broadband connection; a keyboard, mouse, optional controller (Xbox 360 Controller for Windows recommended)

Outdated video card driver.

The video card driver is the software that allows your computer to communicate with your graphics card. If you have an outdated or corrupt video card driver, it can cause freezing issues in Nba 2k17. To fix this issue, first check to see if your computer has any available updates for its graphics card and install them. If there aren’t any available, then you’ll need to update the driver manually by downloading it directly from the manufacturer’s website (usually located on their support page)

Corrupt Nba 2k17 files.

If none of the above options work, then try reinstalling Nba 2k17 and deleting all of its files before reinstalling it again. This should fix any corruption issues that may be occurring.

Another Reasons why It keeps Crashing

Low disk space

NBA2K17 requires at least 7GB of free disk space to install and run. If you don’t have enough space available on your hard drive, then you may experience issues with the game freezing or crashing.

Corrupted or outdated system files

This can be caused by a number of different things. The most common one is corrupted or outdated system files. You’ll want to make sure that you’re playing on the latest version of NBA 2K17 and that your computer has all of the latest updates. If not, try restarting your computer and making sure that no other programs are running in the background.

Corrupt game data

One of the most common reasons for NBA 2K17 crashing is corrupt game data. If this is the case then it will be necessary to delete all data from your PC and start fresh by downloading a fresh copy of the game from Steam or Origin. This will require you to redownload all previous patches as well as any DLCs that may have been purchased before this occurred.

Check your internet connection

It has been reported that disconnecting from the internet can fix some of these issues for some users so try disabling your Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection for about 30 seconds before reconnecting and trying to resume the game. Switch from Steam to Origin If you are using Steam and have been having problems with NBA 2K17 crashing then try switching over to using Origin instead and see if this fixes the problem.
